Positive: Very clean and practical, great location, super friendly owners. Free bicycle. Indoor and Outdoor eating areas. Laundry facility.

Negative: I’m not a big fan of frozen food but there’s a very practical kitchen to make your own if you want.

Summary: A very nice place to stay on Akajima, comfortable, practical and clean. Super friendly owners.

Positive: Everything was perfect ! Very clean, you have coffee/tea/soups and two meals a day. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. 2 minutes from a renting bike 4 minutes from the port

Positive: I loved how welcoming and hospitable the hosts were. I was picked up from Aka Port with my luggage and saved from a rain-soaked walk to the accommodation. Once settled, I was also given a lot of great advice to make the most of my time on the island, where to rent a bike, where to go for a drink in the evening, and the best beach to spot sea turtles. Not only was the place great, but the hosts made my time on the island even better. If I ever get the chance to go back, I'd happily stay here again.

Negative: One very minor touch that might improve the guest's stay would be some low-lighting option by the bed. It was a little uncomfortable trying to read in bed in the evening when the only light sources were in the ceiling, which meant that I constantly had a bright light shining down in my peripheral vision. However, that takes nothing away from how much I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Summary: Aka Island is beautiful getaway, and Urakeram was a wonderful place to call home while I was there.

Positive: The owners were super helpful and generous with their advice and service. We loved the place and its location. The room was super clean as was the establishment. We loved our time there and the island was spectacular. Thank you for making our experience so wonderful.

Negative: The mattress was a little hard but other than that everything was excellent.

Positive: Suke was a wonderful, friendly host who spoke excellent English. The rooms and facilities were clean and modern. It's a beautiful quiet location on Aka Island.

Negative: The blinds in the rooms aren't great at blocking sunlight, so I recommend bringing an eye mask.
